This is Not a Dolls House

I am happy to share I will be participating in The CAMP Gallery’s exhibition,  This is Not a Doll's House. It is the fifth edition of Women Pulling at The Threads of Social Discourse

Opening Reception Friday, October 27th, from 6-9 p.m.

791 NE 125th Street, Miami, FL

The Fiber Artists Miami Association (FAMA) joins The CAMP Gallery in responding to Henrik Ibsen’s play Doll’s House with a group exhibition of 46 fiber artists exploring modern gender, rights, and identity. One year in the making, this exhibition arrives amidst the continued jeopardization of women’s rights, a new production of the play Doll’s House in Manhattan, and the cinematic release of Barbie. With artists challenging conventional gender-related expectations while celebrating the collective power of art to cultivate change, this exhibition stands as a response to age-old ideas and ideologies attached to what it ‘should’ mean to be a woman.
