Presented during the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Miami Fiber Triennial 2026 turns away from official history and toward the intimate, material, and embodied narratives that actually hold a nation together.
Locations: Miami International Fine Arts in Doral, and threads across Miami to include P71 @p71.art, Red Thread Studios @redthreadartiststudiomiami, the Instituto Cultural de México @consulmexmia in Coral Gables, and Mundo Arte Gallery @mundoartegallery in North Miami Beach and @outerspacemiami
The Triennial is devoted to contemporary textile, fiber, and expanded material-based practices, presenting the work of more than 73 American and international artists across the interior and exterior spaces of participating venues, collectives, and public sites.
The Miami Fiber Triennial 2026 is dedicated to the life and work of the beloved Evelyn. It feels especially bittersweet to be part of this exhibition following her passing. Evelyn was incredibly generous as both a person and artist, and she encouraged me to become involved with FAMA. I'm grateful for her support, and for the lasting impact she had on so many artists in our community.
