‘To Make the Present Waver’ SPRING/BREAK Art Show, NY, NYC

So happy to be showing at my favorite art fair, @springbreakartshow, this year! I’m sharing booth D32 with @m.e.brewster in TO MAKE THE PRESENT WAVER, curated by @nicholasfortugno.

Inspired by Avery Gordon’s Ghostly Matters, the exhibition brings together Dana’s embroidery and my ceramics in a surreal, tactile world shaped by hybridity, magick, pleasure, ancient Rome, Catholicism, and 1970s Sunday-morning cartoons. Together, our works create new mythologies that play with the contradictions of freedom and equality in an increasingly unsettling present.
